Which is more realistic project cars or Assetto Corsa?.Other games I just played it in solo / hotlap / practice. iRacing is my go to for "career mode", progress in iRacing is much more satisfying and measurable than anything else I've ever tried, races are cleaner and much more competitive, and there are tons of learning material with great community. Regarding career mode, I had a bit of interest to find what sim racing has the best career mode back then, but after I tried iRacing, the rest becomes irrelevant.

I think people should try it regardless what they already have, especially PCars has a free demo now (although it's very limited). When I was about to purchase the G29 (my first ever steering wheel), I was on the verge of buying PCars, but then I found out most sim racing users I found online are shitting on it for reasons unknown, which is why I bought AC first, turned out I didn't like it back then, so I jumped to PCars and had a blast, I now jump between AC and PCars every other day they are both fun in different aspects. My take away is that if you like simracing, you will want to own them all, you will enjoy them in different ways, just get one that fits your need for now and buy the other next time when you can. Car feeling will be different and can be debatable, I see them all as simulation, even if I don't like PCars FFB, I still enjoy it many times, and when I got bored, I switched to AC. I bought Assetto Corsa first right after I got my G29 and immediately regrets it, I thought it was too "hardcore", abandoned that after a week and bought pCars, played for many hours, then went to iRacing for many weeks, then get back to AC.

  • - Can't set the AI below 80% difficulty.
  • + Clean graphics (It's not as distracting as pCars for me).
  • + Every cars feels unique (pCars is the same, but I feel it more in AC).
  • ? I like the FFB, it's really "colorful" (I played both pCars and AC for 20+ hours before starting to grasp this).
  • ? Good graphic, but the eye candies and art style can feel a bit arcadish for some.
  • ? Has dynamic suggested racing line (if you really need it).
  • ? In general the cars feels easier to control.
  • + If you're still learning, you can set AI below 80% unlike Assetto Corsa.
  • I have both, for Project Cars (+ pros, - cons, ? subjective):
